In recent years, Batam has also emerged as a popular destination for visitors not only from Singapore and Malaysia but also other Asian and European visitors flock to the island for its first class golf courses, duty-free shopping, beach resorts and mouthwatering fresh seafood.

Given its strategic location and its tourism facilities, Batam is transforming itself into a sophisticated recreation ground for international visitors. With increasing flow of leisure and business travelers, Batam has now turned its attention to the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) markets.

Surrounded by many beautiful islands in the Riau Archipelago, Batam is ready to welcome MICE participants for business and conventions, given its unique attractions and warm hospitality.
