The Sanchaya - Intimate Bintan Resort for Your Staycation

View the crystal clear waters of the South China Sea from your windows and immerse yourself in the breath-taking colonial-inspired interior design of The Sanchaya. This private beachfront estate located within Bintan Resorts is unlike any other. A refreshing oasis that sits in the beautiful Lagoi Bay at Bintan Island.

As you enter The Sanchaya, you will be greeted with world-class service, ready to assist you to create the best possible experience. Once you set your eyes inside the spacious rooms, you can unwind on its roomy king-sized beds or utilize its equipped amenities, like iPad, Apple TV, and a high-quality Bang & Olufsen television and sound systems. Located less than an hour away from Singapore, this luxurious resort offers 29 Villas and Suites.

In Sanskrit, Sanchaya means “the collection” , a perfect name that can be observed by the tasteful choices assembled to create its harmonious spaces. A stunning collection of furniture pieces, artifacts, artworks, and stories that symbolize Southeast Asia’s heritage from across the region. As an ongoing commitment to the worlds of art and luxurious hospitality, The Sanchaya is a platform for emerging creative minds of film producers, fashion designers, musicians, and other visionary figures to piece together masterpieces within its walls.

The Sanchaya also aims to deliver a brand new experience in dining for its guests. Home to two serene restaurants, Tasanee Thai Grill and The Dining Room visitors can taste sumptuous different menus, from local cuisines, Bangkok’s vibrant traditional food scene, to contemporary European delicacies. From morning to evening, visitors can dine on these delicious delights with Bintan resort’s picturesque view of the panoramic pool and ocean without time boundaries at all. Its 24-hour dining experience is always open for customers to enjoy indoors or outdoors dining, giving the freedom for The Sancaya’s guests to call for private dining whenever they pleased.

Those who savor wine tasting can journey to an exclusive wine list from award-winning vineyards across the world in intimate settings within its glass-walled wine cellar or in its modern interior of The Sanchaya’s bar. On the contrary, those who prefer more “traditional drinks” can feel rejuvenated once they indulge in the intensive herbal drinks list, featuring local spices and root-tubers exclusive to this area. These drinks will be served at the resort during breakfast by the “Jamu Gendong” lady, an expert in mixing traditional herbs and spices for health benefits.

If that doesn’t excite you, The Sanchaya also facilitates many entertainment areas, including the 50-meter infinity pool, library, vegetable and herb garden, gymnasium, croquet, archery, tropical Indonesian-inspired spa, and a beachside yoga pavilion.

Guests can soothe their mind, body, and soul in four offered treatment rooms or in the lush outdoor cabanas. They can also enjoy Java volcanic warm stones in The Sanchaya Signature massage treatment, leaving only relaxation and peace within.
