Jakarta, 30 November 2022 – The Directorate General of Immigration (DGI) officially relaunched the Multiple Entry Visitor Visa service according to Circular Letter No. IMI-0783.GR.01.01 of 2022 issued on Monday, 28 November 2022. Multiple Entry Visitor Visa allows foreign nationals to enter Indonesia several times within 1 (one) year without applying for a new visa. Through this type of visa, foreign nationals are permitted to stay for 60 (sixty) days every time they enter Indonesia.
"As a community development facilitator, Immigration offers a visitor visa for multiple trips that target business people and foreign tourists. This policy is expected to facilitate those who want to visit the Riau Islands. We expect our joint endeavors will yield good outcomes and be blessed by God Almighty," said the Acting Director General of Immigration, Widodo Ekatjahjana, in Batam.
Here are the requirements to apply for a Multiple Entry Visitor Visa based on Circular Letter No. IMI-0783.GR.01.01 of 2022.
- Visa applications are submitted by the Guarantor online via https://visa-online.imigration.go.id/ by attaching the following requirements:
- Travel Documents in the form of a valid National Passport and still valid for at least 18 (eighteen) months;
- Letter of guarantee from the Guarantor;
- Proof of having living expenses for themselves and/or their family while in the Indonesian Territory of at least US$ 2,000 (two thousand US dollars) or equivalent;
- Return ticket or onward ticket to continue the trip to another country,
- Permanent Resident of Singapore; and
- Recent colored photograph.
- The visa as referred to in number 1) is given to foreigners with a maximum validity period of 1 (one) year to stay in Indonesian Territory for a maximum of 60 (sixty) days from the date of issuance of the Entry Stamp;
- Foreigners holding visas as referred to in number 1) can enter and exit the territory of Indonesia through the Immigration Checkpoints as follows:

- Tanjung Uban, Tanjung Uban

In addition, there are some additional requirements regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, which are listed as follows:
- A letter of Statement willing to comply with all applicable health protocols in Indonesia;
- Proof of having received the full dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
- Proof of ownership of health insurance/travel insurance, including health financing, or a statement letter willing to pay independently if affected by COVID-19 in Indonesia.
The Trial of Multiple Entry Visitor Visa, which is held in the Riau Islands and targets Singapore Citizens as well as foreigners with Singapore Permanent Resident status regulation, is effective from 28 November and will be further monitored and evaluated.
