Bali, the enchanting island of the gods, will again stage the Bali Spirit Festival 9th from 29th March to 3rd April 2016 in the romantic town of Ubud, location of the book and film: Eat, Pray, Love. This festival will attract hundreds of world-renowned musicians, yogis, and dancers from all over the world to enjoy a feast of culture, life renewal and inspiration, as well as find closeness with nature through yoga, dance, and music performances. The event aims to awaken and nourish each individual’s potential for positive change from within, leading to positive change in the home, among communities, and around the world.
Set at the spectacular Banuswari Resort and Spa in Ubud, the festival will open more than 230 daily classes of yoga, meditation, healing, music, and dance and will focus on recovery, health, spirituality, holistic and self-development. The styles of yoga and other movements included are Hatha yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Laughter, Power, Anusara, Ashtanga, Silat, Capoeira, Poi, Qi Gong, and Juggling. Dance styles are drawn from Mandala, Javanese, Balinese, Indian, and West African traditions, moreover, will present musicians and international top teachers.
During the day, there will be a Dharma Market Fair, which provides plenty of booths to shop, a recovery program area, a health and children activities area, organic food kiosks, and the coco-love stage, which will feature music performances during the festival. In the Daytime Workshops and Dharma Fair, visitors can enjoy an open-air venue unmatched for its inspiring, tropical beauty.
In the evenings for five days, there will be Bhakti Night events and "One World One Stage" concert that are both linked. This event will welcome more than 100 international musicians who will thrill the audience with full-spirited voice and music. While the evening concerts will take place in the heart of Ubud, at the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA) outdoor stage, allowing easy access for both visitors and Ubud residents.
